FBA Prep Process and Costs

With ShippingTree, you can transfer inventory from any of our fulfillment centers to any FBA facility. ShippingTree will prep the orders with FBA item labels and box labels and stage them for pick up. See below for the process and costs associated with these order types.

Process

To set up an FBA order in our app:

  1. Inside Amazon Seller Central, choose ‘Send/Replenish Inventory’ from the ‘Inventory’ page and select the ShippingTree location you’ll be shipping from. Complete the required fields.

Note: The ‘Packing Type’ should be ‘Individual Products’, though this does not mean you need a unique order for each master case.

2. You then need to transfer this same information to the ShippingTree app. Select ‘Create Order’ near the left hand side of the app.

3. Fill out the relevant fields and be sure to select the two checkboxes ‘Customer Pickup’ and ‘Mark as B2B’ shown below, then select the anticipated pick up date.

4. Add the inventory that is due to ship, and then most importantly, add the PDF of Amazon FBA item and box stickers that you downloaded from seller central. You can do so through the ‘upload’ tab shown below

Note: If you’re using prepaid Amazon shipping labels, be sure to attach those as well.

5. Once the order has been packed, you’ll be see the dimensions and weight of the order on the order page, which you’ll then relay back to Amazon to finish scheduling the pickup.

Costs

Below are the costs associated with setting up an FBA order:

For FBA Prep:
Pick fees apply as per your contract
Document Printing: $4.00
+$45 per labor hour for labeling and additional labor required
