Uploading Labels and Documents to Orders

In certain instances, you’ll want to upload your own shipping labels or shipping documents (such as a commercial invoice or packing slip) to an order. To do this:

  1. Find the order in ShippingTree and click on the order number.

  2. Inside the order page, near the left hand rail, select ‘upload’. The dropdown offers three options: ‘Upload Products’, ‘Upload Labels’ and ‘Upload Documents’. Upload the appropriate documents to the order and they will be included with your shipment.

Note: if you plan to upload your own shipping labels, please select the option for “Customer Pickup” as the shipping method on the order.  If an order has been placed with a standard shipping method selected, it’s possible the order will be shipped with that method before the warehouse receives notification to use the labels you uploaded.

If an order is marked as “Customer Pickup,” an email will be sent to the email address on the order when the order is packed and ready for pickup. At that point, you can upload your shipping labels, as the weights and dimensions of the order will be posted.
