ASN Non-Compliance Fees

One of the most important components of the fulfillment process is properly following the guidelines for sending us inventory. When the guidelines are not adhered to, there are penalties in the form of fees that will be charged to your account. These charges are listed below:

  • Incoming shipments that arrive without an advanced shipping notice (ASN) will be charged $90 per occurrence, and then $50 per pallet per day that the inbound shipment sits in Kase’s staging area without an ASN provided.
  • Your account will be billed only for the time it takes us to make the incoming shipment compliant, not the time it takes count and stow the products. Kase charges its standard hourly rate per man hour for ensuring compliance.
  • For items that need to be barcoded, the charge is .15 cents per label (no hourly fee applied).  (Note: Non-ASN projects that require barcoding will be charged .15 cents per label, plus its standard hourly rate per man hour.)
  • Incoming shipments must arrive at Kase locations with all duties and customs paid and cleared. For large deliveries, especially containers, a delivery appointment is required. If duties are not paid, the ASN will be considered non compliant and fees will apply.
  • Rush requests to receive in ASNs faster than our standard receiving timeline will incur a $75 surcharge per ASN.

Note: Our typical receiving window is 1-3 business days when compliant. Receiving times for non-compliant ASNs will vary.
