Creating an ASN
To ensure there are no disruptions to fulfilling orders for your customers, it’s important that we know ahead of time what merchandise you’ll be sending to us. Any quantity discrepancies will be listed on the ASN after we’ve completed checking it in.
Important Notes:
- Shipments that arrive without an ASN will not be checked in until an ASN is created.
- You only need to create one ASN per shipment (not one per box).
- Any discrepancies with quantities will be listed on the ASN after we’ve completed checking it in.
- Please verify that your ASN is compliant by reviewing the compliance guidelines here.
To create an ASN:
- Login to ShippingTree and click the “ASNs” tab on the left rail, under the ‘Inventory’ section.
- Click ‘create ASN’ near the upper right corner of the page
- Fill out the ASN form and select the estimated delivery date. Sender and warehouse are required fields. The remaining fields are optional and can be updated after the ASN has been created if needed. Click 'Next' to move on to the next screen.
- Next, you’ll want to add the items that you’ll be sending us. You only need to create one ASN per shipment (not one ASN per box).
Enter the amount for each product and then click 'Add' to populate it on the top of the add products box.
- Click ‘submit’ and you’re done.
Note: It’s helpful to write the ASN number on one of the boxes prior to shipping. However, as long as the ASN is listed in the system, we should be able to find it when the inventory arrives (especially if the tracking number for the main box is listed on the ASN).
