ASN Compliance Guidelines

The following guidelines will help you properly prepare your products before sending them to Kase. Accurate inventory submissions allow us to stow and ship your products efficiently. Please follow these guidelines to avoid delays and additional charges.


ASN Requirements

  • Each box, pallet, or container must have an ASN created in the Kase app before arriving at our warehouse. [Learn how to create an ASN here]
  • Each shipment must be clearly labeled with your company name and ASN number as follows:

{Kase c/o YOUR COMPANY NAME}

  • The ASN number must be on the outside of the boxes and/or the tracking number or BOL number must be included in the ASN file.
  • Each SKU and Lot# (if applicable) must be in its own box, bag or pallet.
  • Each SKU must be barcoded
  • Each box, bag, or pallet must be clearly marked with the SKU, Lot # (if applicable), and quantity on the outside.

Pallet Guidelines

  • Standard pallet dimensions: 40x48x56 (WxLxH).
  • Pallet containing mixed SKUs or Lot #s will be subject to a restructuring fee of $45.00 per man hour.
  • No side-loaded pallets. Side-loaded pallets will be manually unloaded at $45 per man hour.

Creating an ASN

To ensure uninterrupted fulfillment, inform us in advance about your incoming shipments.

Important Notes:

  • Shipments arriving without an ASN will not be checked in until an ASN is created.
  • Only one ASN per shipment is required, not per box.
  • Any discrepancies in received quantities will be updated on the ASN after check-in.

Steps to Create an ASN

  1. Log into Kase and click the "ASNs" tab under 'Inventory'.

  1. Click 'Create ASN' in the upper-right corner.

  1. Complete the ASN form, selecting the estimated delivery date, Sender and warehouse fields are required.

  1. Select 'Add Products'

  1. Add the items you are sending, entering the quantity for each product, and click 'Add'.

  1. Click 'Submit' to finalize the ASN

💡Tip: Writing the ASN number on one of your boxes before shipping is recommended.


Creating a Packaging ASN

To use your own packaging materials, create 'products' in the system and send them via an ASN.

  1. Click the 'Packaging' tab in the left rail of the app.


  1. Click 'Create Packaging ASN' in the upper-right corner.


  1. Follow the Creating an ASN steps outlined above.

ASN Non-Compliance Fees

  • Receiving is free for compliant shipments.
  • Non-compliant shipments will be billed at $45.00 per man hour for corrections.
  • Barcoding: $0.15 per label (non-ASN projects will also incur a $45 per manhour fee)
  • Duties must be prepaid before shipments arrive
  • Standard receiving window for compliant shipments: 1-3 business days.
  • Non-compliant ASN receiving times vary.

Appleton Warehouse

  • Location: 3000 Warehouse Rd, Appleton, WI 54915
  • Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Check in at Door F
  • FTL Shipments: Must be scheduled 48 hours in advance
  • LTL Shipments: Must be scheduled 48 hours in advance
  • Pickups: Must be 24 hours in advance
  • Small Parcel Shipments: Notify support of estimated arrival date
  • Scheduling Instructions: Opendock (See instructions for Open Dock below)

Columbus Warehouse

  • Location: 4720 Poth Road, Whitehall, OH 43213
  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Pickup Hours: 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM
  • FTL Shipments: Must be scheduled 48 hours in advance
  • LTL Shipments: Must be scheduled 48 hours in advance
  • Small Parcel Shipments: Notify support of estimated arrival date

Dallas Warehouse

  • Location: 2722 South Jupiter Road, Garland, TX 75041
  • Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Pickup Hours: 7:00 AM - 2:45 PM
  • FTL Shipments: Must be scheduled 48 hours in advance
  • LTL Shipments: Must be scheduled 48 hours in advance
  • Pickups: Must be 24 hours in advance
  • Small Parcel Shipments: Notify support of estimated arrival date

Fontana Warehouse

  • Location: 14339 Whittram Ave, Fontana, CA 92335
  • Inbound Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Pickup Hours: 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM
  • FTL Shipments: Must be scheduled 48 hours in advance
  • LTL Shipments: Must be scheduled 48 hours in advance

Sunnyvale Warehouse

  • Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Pickup Hours: 7:00 AM - 2:15 PM
  • FTL Shipments: Must be scheduled 48 hours in advance
  • LTL Shipments: Must be scheduled 48 hours in advance

How to schedule appointments in Open Dock (For Sauk and Dallas warehouses)

IF YOU RECEIVE AN ERROR IN SCHEDULING AN INBOUND, PLEASE SCHEDULE AS AN "OUTBOUND" APPOINTMENT AND HIT "SAVE". ONCE CREATED, YOU CAN ADJUST FROM OUTBOUND TO INBOUND UNDER YOUR APPOINTMENT.
