ASN Compliance Guidelines
The following guidelines will help you to properly prepare your products before you send them to ShippingTree. It’s critical that inventory is sent to us accurately so that we can get them stowed and shipped as fast as possible. Follow these guidelines to avoid delays and extra charges.
- Each box, pallet or container you ship us must have an ASN created for it in the ShippingTree app prior to the goods arriving at one of our warehouses. You can can learn how to create an ASN here.
- Each shipment must be clearly labeled with your company name and ASN number as follows:
- {ShippingTree c/o YOUR COMPANY NAME}
- Contain the ASN number on the outside of the boxes and/or include the tracking number or BOL number in the ASN file you created for the shipment
- Each SKU and Lot # (if applicable) must be in its own box, bag or pallet. For example, if you’re shipping us coffee mugs in 4 different sizes, then each mug must be in its own box. Alternatively, if you must keep all the mugs in one box, the 4 different mugs must all be clearly separated within the box.
- Each SKU must be barcoded.
- Each box, bag or pallet must be clearly marked with the SKU, Lot # (if applicable), and quantity on the outside of the box.
- Our standard pallet dimension is 40x48x56 (WxLxH). Restructuring pallets will result in a special project fee of $45.00 per man hour.
- Pallets containing mixed SKUs or Lot #'s (if applicable) will be charged a restructuring fee of $45.00 per man hour.
- No side loaded pallets
- If we receive side loaded pallets, they will be manually unloaded and billed at $45 per man hour.
